Aglianico-Primitivo 2022 Duca di Saragnano

Duca di Saragnano’s Apulian red wine Aglianico-Primitivo has the charm of the warmth of the South, with its pronounced, warm and well-rounded taste; it is appealing and versatile in food pairing. It is a tribute to the south from all points of view, as it comes as a blend of two of the main grape varieties of southern Italy, different from each other. Aglianico is a late ripening variety and brings vigor, tannins and acidity; on the contrary, Primitivo is an early ripening vine and brings softness, alcohol content and fruity flavors. In the idea of this wine, the two grape varieties complement each other and return a wine with a balanced and harmonious taste, easy and immediate to drink.

The grapes ferment with the skins in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature. After racking, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation.
