Brandy Gran Duque D'Alba
Brandy Gran Duque de Alba is a fine distillate made from a careful selection of excellent wines, known as holandas, which are distilled in stills at 65º to ensure maximum quality. This process is followed by a long ageing period of 12 years in oak barrels, previously used to age Oloroso-type sherry, giving the Brandy richness and complexity.
Its category, Solera Gran Reserva, underlines its excellence and status as a premium product in the world of spirits. With an alcohol content of 40% Vol., Brandy Gran Duque de Alba displays a perfect harmony between the vigour of its alcohol content and the smoothness of its flavours.
During the ageing process, the Brandy acquires the distinctive characteristics of oak wood and the complex nuances of Oloroso wine, thanks to the traditional method of Soleras and Criaderas. This system guarantees a constant evolution and uniform ageing of the distillate, keeping its aromatic profile and taste balance intact.
