Tenute Piccini

The Piccini family has been linked to Tuscan wine since 1882. From the initial 7 hectares in Chianti it has become one of the main wine producers in Italy. In Tuscany, the Tenute Piccini includes the following estates: Tenuta Moraia in Maremma, Fattoria di Valiano in Chianti and Villa al Cortile in Montalcino.
Outside Tuscany, Piccini owns Terre Mora on Etna (Sicily) and Regio Cantina in Basilicata. Recently Piccini also acquired the Chianti Geografico cooperative winery.
However, Tuscan red wines are the main part of the group's production, from IGTs to wines under the traditional appellations. Piccini is the largest bottler of Chianti DOCG wine, which exports to 70 countries. Piccini produces almost 15 million bottles a year.
