Straccali was a traditional Chianti winery founded in 1925 by Giulio Straccali who helped found the Gallo Nero consortium. After the death of Giulio Straccali, the business was acquired by Italo Zingarelli, founder of the Tuscan winery Rocca delle Macìe.
Today Straccali is a line of products that Rocca delle Macìe markets in memory of the Straccali family. Both Tuscan wines produced in Chianti and wines produced with grapes from other regions are part of the Straccali products.
