Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva Sotto Casa 2019 Box da 6 bottiglie
Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva Sotto Casa was introduced starting with the 2011 vintage and owes its name to the vineyard where the grapes from which it is made come from. This Riserva is in fact a cru, meaning that all the grapes used come from a single vineyard.
The grapes used are Sangiovese Prugnolo Gentile, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, which are harvested and fermented separately in oak vats. Fermentation lasts about 10 days, which is then followed by aging in Slavonian or French oak barrels for 28-32 months. After bottling, the wine ages a few more months in bottle.
