blended Champagne Rosé, adding a percentage of red wine to the Brut (Yellow Label). The result is Veuve Clicquot Rosé, which is still produced with the same philosophy today. Champagne Brut Rosé is obtained from a blend of wines from over 50 different vineyards. The percentages of the varieties vary depending on the weather conditions of the vintage, but Pinot Noir is always fundamental. In this case 12% of Pinot Noir is fermented as red wine (and it is Pinot Noir from the village of Bouzy).
