Traminer Aromatico Kiké 2023

The wine with the name Kiké comes from the hills behind Marsala in western Sicily. It is an aromatic wine made with Gewürztraminer and a small part of Sauvignon blanc. The smart idea of adding Sauvignon blanc guarantees balance and freshness to the taste and does not affect the aromatic character of the perfume, on the contrary it increases it. Both grape varieties come from other regions, but in Sicily they can really ripen perfectly and produce fascinating wines. The Fina winery is family-run and produces wines with care and according to the protocol of organic certification. The vineyards are located at 500 meters above sea level and enjoy significant diurnal temperature range. The planting is dense, with 5500 vines per hectare, and the yields are deliberately low to produce quality wines.

The grapes are harvested between August and September. The free run must, after being clarified, ferments in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature. The wine ages in steel for 6 months before being bottled.
