Single Malt Yoichi
Whisky Single Malt Yoichi is produced by the first Nikka distillery, built in 1931 in the Hokkaido region. Nikka's founder, Masataka Taketsuru, had found climatic and environmental conditions in Yoichi, similar to those where Scottish Whiskies are produced.
Single Malt Yoichi Whisky without particular indications of aging is a bold whisky with very refined smoky and peat notes. It was first produced in 2016 with the aim of creating a balanced Whisky that could worthily represent the style of Japanese Whisky. An important feature is the use of stills with different shape with the aim of creating complexity.
