Secco Bertani Vintage Edition 2019
The Secco Bertani Vintage Edition 2019 perfectly blends native and international grapes, in fact it is composed of 80% Corvina, 10% Sangiovese grosso, 5% Syrah and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. The vines are trained using the Guyot method.
Its vines are located in the Veneto region, more precisely in Valpantena, soil that is predominantly marl-calcareous and rich in iron.
The must ferments in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, matures for 18 months in a 750 l Veronese cask made of chestnut and cherry wood, and finally refines in the bottle for 6 months.
This label was created to evoke and pay homage to the dry wine that the winery made in the 1930s (faithfully using its ancient recipe); it represents a plunge into the past that manages to be current even in the present.
The wine is soft, enveloping, structured and rich with a full nose and an intense and broad taste with a pleasantly persistent finish. Although this wine can be drunk immediately, it can still be cellared for 4-5 years.
