Rozès Tawny Porto
Rozès Tawny is a wine as fresh as it is complex; comes from a careful selection of the best wines of the Douro wine region. The addition of distillate blocks the fermentation and therefore a part of the sugars remains unfermented and gives the wine a sweet taste. The tawny ages in large barrels for two-three years, after which it is decanted into small barrels in which there is greater contact with the wood and, through it, with the air; as it oxidizes and ages more rapidly, it loses its original ruby red color to take on a lighter, amber shade and flavor of dried fruit. It goes perfectly with dried fruit, snacks and desserts.
