This cognac takes its name from the Royal Agreement with which in 1738 King Louis XV granted the Maison to plant new vines. In 1997 Georges Clot, cellar manager, decided to create this a new unique blend of particularly round and woody spirits, which begin their aging in freshly toasted wooden barrels and end up revealing an incomparable softness.
It is One of the most prestigious cognacs from one of the historic French distillate houses is a blend of the two best crues of the Cognac region: Premier Cru Grande Champagne and Second Cru Petit Champagne
