Primitivo di Manduria Ué Pàssula 2017

Uè Pàssula wine is a fine Primitivo di Manduria DOC label from the Vinosia winery of Luciano Ercolino. The production area is the flat one of the DOC in the province of Taranto overlooking the Ionian Sea with calcareous soil. Here the Primitivo plants are bush trained and have particularly low yields.

The grapes are harvested by hand. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel vats with maceration on the skins. The wine also carries out malolactic fermentation and ages in French oak barriques for over a year.
