Nipozzano Vecchie Viti 2019 Chianti Rufina Riserva
The Riserva Nipozzano Vecchie Viti is a Chianti Rufina in which, alongside Sangiovese, we find small percentages of Malvasia Nera, Colorino and Canaiolo. The grapes grow in the 40-year-old vineyards near the Nipozzano Castle, one of the historic homes of the Frescobaldi family. After the harvest, spontaneous fermentation, maceration and malolactic fermentation take place in steel in the cellar, before the maturation which takes place in barriques and the further period of rest in the bottle.

Colour: lively ruby red.
perfume: berries, black cherry and floral notes with balsamic hints followed by toasted and spicy notes of pepper, nutmeg and coffee.
Taste: rich with fruit density and final mineral freshness that make it balanced and persistent; dense but not scratchy tannic texture.
Suggestions
A wine that must be opened and let it breathe at least 20 minutes before tasting it to be able to feel all the aromas and all the nuances of taste.
Recommended with: roasts, meat sauce pasta, charcuterie, hams and cold meat.
