Nikka Whisky From The Barrel Silhouette 50 cl

The name "From the Barrel" is evocative and aims to remind the flavor intensity of a taste of Whisky straight from the aging barrel. The intensity is guaranteed by an important alcohol: 51.4%. Yet tasting it would not seem like it, because the skill of the Japanese has been able to create a perfect gustatory balance. It is in fact a very high-profile blended whisky, almost comparable to the great Scotch single malts. It is made from malt whisky and other cereals, produced in the two distinct Nikka distilleries in Japan: that of Miyagikyo and that of Yoichi. Some of the Whisky age in ex Sherry casks, others in ex Bourbon casks. Hence the great complexity of this Whisky.

It has the typical traits of Japanese Whiskys: balance and finesse, while not lacking in body when tasted.
