The 100% Primitivo grapes grown in Apulia are harvested at the right concentration in vineyards with low planting intensity. After harvesting, the grapes are fermented in steel vats; maceration is slow and lasts approximately 20 days to allow for a higher polyphenolic concentration. The fermentation temperature is controlled and constant. After fermentation, the wine is matured in large casks for at least six months.

Taste: full-bodied, warm and with important tannins.

Excellent in combination with game dishes in the autumn.
