Monte Colombo Barbera d'Asti 2015 Box da 6 bottiglie
Marchesi di Gresy's Monte Colombo Barbera d'Asti owes its name to the vineyards from which the Barbera grapes used for its production come, namely the vineyards of Monte Colombo. The pedoclimatic characteristics of this area favor the growth of grapes destined for the production of important wines with character, such as Monte Colombo Barbera d'Asti.
Vinification takes place with submerged cap maceration at a controlled temperature of 28° and subsequent submerged cap post-maceration for ten to twenty days. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation follow.
The wine ages in French oak barriques for twelve months and then for another sixteen months in Slavonian oak barrels. After bottling, the wine ages for another ten months or so before release.
