Limoncello Limoncino
Limoncello is a traditional Italian liqueur produced with the peel of the typical Mediterranean lemons. Bottega Limoncino is produced with an infusion of lemon peels from the Femminello Siracusano cultivar, which stands out for its fine peel and for the quality of its essential oils. It is called "Femminello" because it blooms three times a year, so it is exceptionally fertile.
The lemons are not treated and after harvesting they are washed and peeled by hand. Only the yellow part of the peel is taken, excluding the bitter white part.
The aromas are extracted by 30 days of alcoholic infusion. At the end, the liquid part is filtered, diluted, adjusted with sugar and corrected with a touch of Bottega grappa.
