I Coltri 2020

The label takes its name from the coulter, the ancient blade of the plow that tills and tills the land. I Coltri is a blend that brings together in the best possible way a traditional Tuscan vine, Sangiovese, with two international vine varieties, Merlot and Cabernet. The grapes come from a careful selection of Guyot and spurred cordon trained vineyards on well-exposed soils of various kinds; they are destemmed and traditionally vinified in red together with a small part of whole Bordeaux grapes with 10 days of maceration; 30-35% aging in barriques, the rest in large barrels.
