Grappa Riserva Privata Amarone
Bottega's Grappa Riserva Privata is an exclusive grappa, produced starting from a selection of Amarone Grappa that is further aged in barrique.
Bottega's Grappa Riserva Privata has been awarded several times by specific handbooks such as Bibenda, The Wine Hunter and others.
Bottega selects freshly drawn and still wet pomace of the great Venetian wine, Amarone della Valpolicella. These are distilled in vacuum copper stills heated in a bain marie. The distillation process is discontinuous and takes place in 3 phases. This allows to perfectly select the purest and cleanest flavors. Finally, the grappa is aged for a long time in Salvonian, Limousin and American oak barrels and barriques. This long aging in wood gives the grappa its color, but above all it enriches its aroma and softens its taste.
