The grapes are harvested and vinified in steel. The wine is then placed in tonneaux and left to mature for eighteen months. After maturation in wood, the wine is left to mature in the bottle for six months before release.
The nose has clear varietal notes of Nero D'Avola, such as plum, black cherries under spirits and violets, balanced by the spicy notes that the ageing in wood gives it.
In the mouth it is warm and enveloping with soft tannins.
