Grand Brut is Perrier-Jouët's calling card: its most produced and drunk Champagne. Although black berried grapes prevail in the blend, the style is the unmistakable one of the maison, based on floral aromas, finesse and lightness. The grapes come from 50 different crus and a small percentage (max 15%) of vins de réserve are used (i.e. wines from previous vintages stored in the cellar) to ensure recognizable stylistic continuity year after year. It ages on the lees for a variable period between 2 and 3 years and is dosed with a maximum of 10 g,l of sugars.

perfume: delicately floral, reminiscent of citrus, pear, peach and a hint of melted butter
Taste: crisp on entry and balanced in the long finish. It is lean and extremely enjoyable thanks to its harmony
Suggestions
You had better uncork it in youth and appreciated its subtlety. Perfect for an aperitif or while having finger food. When eating, it can be paired with seafood or a Pizza Margherita
Recommended with: charcuterie, hams and cold meat, mushrooms, truffles, sushi and raw fish, vegetarian dishes, pizza, shellifish, crab and lobster, fish, fresh cheese.
