Casa di Terra Bolgheri Superiore 2016
Casa di Terra Bolgheri Superiore is a wine made using 100% Cabernet Franc grapes, in an area like Bolgheri particularly vacated to the cultivation of international grape varieties.
It is a strong, intense and persistent wine, thanks certainly to Bolgheri's soils and terroir.
After the harvest, the grapes are brought to the cellar, where, after a cold maceration lasting some hours, fermentation begins with only the natural yeasts already present on the skins of the grapes.
Aging takes place in French oak barrels where the wine remains for about 20 months before being bottled without previous filtration to preserve its characteristics.
Subsequently, the wine remains for another 12 months in bottle aging before being released on the market.
Features
Colour: ruby red.
perfume: aromas of red and black berry fruits, slightly spicy and tertiary aromas such as leather and tobacco.
Taste: soft and rounded, with well-ripened, round tannins. The finish is very long and persistent.
Suggestions
Serve at room temperature (18-20°), it is recommended to open the bottle about an hour before consumption.
Recommended with: truffles.
