Brunello di Montalcino Pian delle Vigne 2019

Well-strucutred and evolved wine, Antinori’s Brunello enjoys the heat of the southern slope of Montalcino.Tenuta Pian delle Vigne has belonged to the Antinori family since 1995. The vineyards are located on the south-western side of Montalcino at 130 m above sea level and benefit generally of warm climatic conditions, which turn into bold and softly-textured wines.

The grapes were de-stemmed and softly pressed and fermented in steel vats at a temperature of 28 ° C for 15 days. The wine then matured in large oak barrels for over two years. It was aged in bottle until the 5th year after the harvest as required by the demanding requirements of the Brunello di Montalcino DOCG.
