Barbera 2020
The Barbera of the Casteggio winery is produced through a 5-6 day maceration at a controlled temperature. After complete racking, fermentation takes place in steel tanks. The wine has an intense ruby red colour and a rich aroma of fresh notes of ripe red fruit, with hints of plum and blackberry and light spicy nuances. Savouring this Barbera, one appreciates its full and structured flavour, the right level of tannins and balanced acidity. This wine pairs perfectly with red meat dishes and mature cheeses.
