The "arele" in the Venetian and Trentino dialects are the wooden boards on which the grapes are spread to dry. Arele red wine by Tommasi is produced with a partial drying of the grapes, not long and total as in the case of Amarone. This expedient is used to give roundness and softness to a medium-bodied red wine that is easy to drink. Arele is also produced with both local and international grapes, grown in the rolling hills of Valpolicella. The contribution of Merlot gives great appeal, immediacy and complexity. The Arele red wine is a versatile and appealing wine for the whole meal.The wine is produced with 70% of fresh grapes and 30% of grapes dried for 45 days. In both cases the alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel vats at a controlled temperature. The 2 batches are blended and the wine ages for a year in large Slavonian oak barrels.

perfume: ripe fruit, raspberry, black cherry, prune, balsamic and spicy notes.
Taste: dry, supple, well-balanced, savory, with delicate tannins.
Suggestions
It is very versatile, you can uncork it on any occasion, even between meals. In our opinion, the ideal food pairing is with grilled cockerel.
Recommended with: roasts, meat sauce pasta.
