Ca' Viola

Ca' Viola was born in Montelupo Albanese, in the province of Cuneo, from an idea of Beppe Caviola, who rented and vinified the first plot of land, which would become the first vineyard of this company. Other plots of land were later added to the estate and new grapes were cultivated. The first label bottled will be the Dolcetto Barturot.

The land on this estate can be divided into three areas: Montelupo, Novello and Bossolasco.

Montelupo: soil rich in calcareous clay marl and sandstone at an altitude of 400 m; Barbera, Nebbiolo and Dolcetto are grown here.

Novello: calcareous soil, where the estate's two Barolo labels come from.

Bossolasco: also defined as the white soul of the estate for the production of Riesling.
