Vite Colte is a spin-off from Terre da Vino, a large cooperative winery in the Langhe. Vite Colte is made up of the best vintners, who have vineyards in prime positions in the villages of Barolo and Serralunga d'Alba. To ensure a high quality standard, the 180 members of Vite Colte have given themselves common requirements: low yields, vines of at least 15 years, manual management of the green part of the plants and strictly manual harvest. They have a predilection for organic farming and integrated pest management.
Consumers seem to have appreciated the operation because the labels of Vite Colte are enjoying great appreciation.
The cellar, equipped with the best technologies for the production of quality wines, is based in Barolo and produces 1,200,000 bottles a year from 300 hectares of vineyards.
