Gewürztraminer Selida is obtained from a par-ticular selection in the vineyard and from an accurate wine making process, to obtain a great-er aromatic definition. Selida is a dialect term to indicate a small farm and therefore refers to craftsmanship. With this approach this white wine is made.
The grapes are harvested by hand in small boxes in order to arrive intact in the cellar. Here they are crushed and macerate for a few hours, then they are pressed and the free-run must ferments in small steel vats at a controlled temperature. The wine ages in steel on the lees for a few months.
Features
Colour: straw yellow tending to golden.
perfume: floral and fruity with rose, lime, mango, papaya, passion fruit and hints of balsamic herbs.
Taste: full body, soft textured, balanced, long spicy finish.
