Jean-Marc Brocard is a well established and reliable producer with the largest organically run domaine in the appellation of Chablis. Jean-Marc Brocard made his debut in 1974 with 1 ha of vineyard. Today he manages 200 hectares and produces a varied range of labels.
Since 1995, his son Julien has joined his father in the activity that is still managed on a family level. Julien is passionate about biodynamics and begins to experiment with it on a plot. The attention to ecology and health led him to lead the vineyard in organic farming and now he is converting to biodynamics. According to him, wines must express the depth of the place of origin rather than the fashion of contemporary taste.
The range includes various labels of Petit Chablis, Chablis, Chablis Premier Cru and Chablis Grand Cru. Today it is counted among the most reliable independent producers in the region. The wines are precise, intense and traditional.
