Georges Duboeuf, who died in 2020, was a pioneer of French wine, known as the 'King of Beaujolais'. His company, Les Vins Georges Duboeuf, is one of the largest and most renowned in the region, producing over 2.5 million cases per year.

Maison Georges Dubœuf reveals the talent of winegrowers and sublimates the great terroirs of the Beaujolais and Maconnais regions. More than 300 winegrowers rely on us to create the wines of all the crus, all the AOCs of the Beaujolais and Maconnais regions and the Beaujolais Nouveaux, whose great celebrations in France and abroad have built their reputation. Today we produce 12 million bottles a year, 75% of which are exported.

The Georges Dubœuf winemaking centre has been open to the public since July 2003.

The centre puts visitors at the heart of wine production. A gallery of portraits of winegrowers from the Beaujolais and Mâconnais regions welcomes visitors. Georges Dubœuf wanted to put men, women and know-how at the centre of the visit. Winemaking techniques are explained in this space combining advanced technology and respect for tradition, in the calm of the cellars or among the 150 stainless steel vats and 6 oak vats.
