Chiaretto Rosa dei Frati is a Riviera del Garda Classico DOC, produced by Cà dei Frati, an iconic winery located on the southern shore of Garda Lake. It is obtained with a blend of grapes where Groppello is the main variety; it is grown on compact white clay and benefit of a mild climate, suitable for its perfect ripening.
Grapes are pressed gently and a short maceration with the skin is carried out to get the right color; fermentation is avoided to grand freshness on the palate. Aging takes place in steel vat on the fine lees for 6 months.
Harmony and freshness are two of the main features of this wine. It has a pleasant acidity making Chiaretto an easy to drink rosé for an aperitif or a whole light meal.
