Franciacorta Extra Brut ‘61

Franciacorta Brut '61 recalls the birth date of Franciacorta, in fact in 1961 for the first time a traditional method sparkling wine was produced in the Berlucchi house with the word "Franciacorta" on the label, which until then was only the name of a territory; while today Franciacorta is the most glamorous sparkling wine DOCG in Italy.

The grapes come from different municipalities of Franciacorta. The base wines are obtained from fermentation in steel. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle with the traditional method and the sparkling wine ages on the lees for over two years.
