Altavilla della Corte Cabernet Sauvignon 2022
Altavilla della Corte is made from pure Cabernet Sauvignon using the counter-espalier method in Sicily near Trapani, at an altitude of around 250 m on limestone-clay soil.
Harvested by hand, with malolactic fermentation and aged in French and American oak barrels for 6 months and in bottles for 6 months.
The end result is a broad wine, opening initially with light, enveloping fruity hints and concluding with more complex, spicy chocolatey hints. The structure is very particular, in fact, it rests on an important acidity that is balanced by the structure of the Cabernet and its softness.
