The Mexican company Volcán de Mi Tierra was founded in 2017 through the joint venture between the LVMH group and the Gallardo family, with the aim of making an original Tequila. In particular, the mission of Volcán de Mi Tierra is to exploit the potential of the territory of the Highlands and Lowlands in the Jalisco area to produce spirits with an original and refined taste.

The name itself is a tribute to the territory: the "Volcán de Tequila" created the ideal conditions for the cultivation of blue agave through an eruption of 200,000 years ago. The soils rich in basalt and iron on which the blue agave plants grow are able to enhance the inimitable taste of the Tequila produced in this area.
