The sparkling wine business of the Santero family started in 1958 in Santo Stefano Belbo, in Piedmont. They ferment their own grapes and grapes purchased by over a hundred suppliers.
Santero is a winery with large numbers that has specialized in the production of sparkling wines with the tank method. It has followed the market demand up to a certain point; then Santero has also been able to innovate and to impose new styles and new habits with original product lines, designed for young consumers.
