The liqueur tradition on the Amalfi coast dates back to the Middle Ages.

Profumi della Costiera is an artisanal producer in Ravello, that inherits this tradition and has been specializing for years in the production of liqueurs made with the “Sfusato Amalfitano” lemon. It is a particular variety of lemon, which has also received the Protected Geographical Indication appellation precisely for its qualities derived from the unique terraced territory of the Amalfi coast.
