Poggio del Moro is a large Tuscan farm based in Chianciano in Val d’Orcia. The 50-hectare estate includes vineyards, olive groves and other crops and was purchased by a Russian entrepreneur, Tania Kuznetsova, who opted for an approach that fully respects environmental sustainability, adopting principles of organic and biodynamic agriculture. It has a private oil mill for the production of excellent extra virgin olive oil.
The production of wine is also carried out with attention to the highest quality: from the manual management of the vineyards to the activities in the cellar. Fermentations are carried out exclusively with indigenous yeasts in order not to introduce any elements foreign to the territory of origin.
The range of wines is articulated: it includes traditional red wines such as Chianti and modern wines made with international grape varieties. It has also recently started the production of traditional method sparkling wine and wines with a sparkle obtained with the ancestral method.
