Merser is an English merchant house specializing in the blending of Rum. It is a "blending house" and not a distillery, as it deals with blending different rums distilled and aged in the Caribbean islands. It reflects an English tradition of the so-called "London rum" and is based on the typically English art of blending, already successfully tested for Whiskies. The Rums purchased are then blended by Merser & Co. to create a new flavor and taste, they are left to rest in small barrels for 6 months in order to harmonize with each other.
