Larnaudie Hirault is a family business located on the outskirts of the city of Reims on the northern slope of the Montagne de Reims, specifically in the village of Trois-Puits, classified as Premier Cru. Larnaudie Hirault is a Récoltant Manipulant, that is an independent producer, whose Champagnes are obtained only with proprietary grapes. Yves et Marie-Thérèse Larnaudie started the business in 1975, then their sons joined them and took over the management by expanding the owned vineyard up to 7 hectares.
Over the decades, the family has improved the knowledge of its vineyards and production techniques, being able to count on a wide range of French and international customers thanks to the quality of their wines. They have always relied on principles of environmental sustainability, now they have begun the conversion to organic farming.
They grow all three grape varieties of Champagne in their vineyards; this allow them to create an articulated range of labels. Larnaudie Hirault Champagnes are often awarded by the Hachette guide.
