Giulia Negri Serradenari

Giulia Negri is an emerging and promising producer from the Langhe area. Serradenari is one of the additional geographical mentions of the Barolo appellation, but it is also the name of an estate where wine grapes have been grown for over a century. Today's winery was founded by the politician and writer Giovanni Negri in 2001, but has been managed entirely by his daughter Giulia Negri for some years now, who uses to sign the labels produced with her name and surname. Serradenari is located in the township of La Morra and in particular on the highest hill of the whole Barolo area up to over 500 meters above sea level. In addition to Nebbiolo, Giulia Negri grows Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Barbera. She considers herself a "garage owner" as the cellar is small and essential, like a garage.
Giulia Negri cultivates 6.5 hectares of vineyards, which are among the highest in the Langhe, according to the dictates of organic farming and uses only spontaneous yeasts and not selected yeasts for fermentation. The vineyards are surrounded by woods and there is a historic and precious truffle ground on the estate. The annual production is 45,000 bottles produced with great craftsmanship. Giulia Negri's wines are distinguished by finesse and precision and are already exported to various countries.
