The Fabiano family debuted by selling wines in Venice in 1912. From 1955 they began their own production in the province of Verona by buying the cellar of Colà di Lazise, from where they started selling their wines even outside the region.
The next step was the construction of a new winery in Sona where the new generation could further develop the business. The Fabianos were so ambitious that the winery of Sona, when was built in the 70s, was one of the largest in Italy.
The Fabiano winery specialized in the production of the typical wines of Valpolicella and Garda with native vines, but in recent years they have also expanded the horizons also cultivating Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Grigio. The Amarone remains anyway the leading wine of the cellar, produced in three different versions. Today the fourth generation leads the business by counting on 40 hectares of vineyards.
