Tequila El Mayor was born from the decades of experience of the Gonzalez Lux distillery.  For over four generations, the Gonzalez family has dedicated itself to the art of agave cultivation and tequila distillation. 

El Mayor tequila is produced exclusively from the highest quality Weber Blue agave plants, which thrive on the rocks of the Jalisco plains. At around 2,300 metres above sea level, the sandy, mineral-rich soil produces the juiciest plants, giving an enveloping flavour as only Jalisco can.

Even today, the values and processes handed down from generation to generation are reflected in every sip and every bottle, representing the continuity of a legacy that has been worked tirelessly for.
