List of products by brand Cuperly
Cuperly
Cuperly is a small independent producer with vineyards in Grand Cru villages of the Montagne de Reims. The maison was founded in 1845 only as a négociant; from the beginning of the twentieth century, Robert Cuperly began to acquire vineyards in Verzy and to create his own Champagne house. From this moment on, the Cuperly family progressively developed the activity of independent producer, affirming its own brand.
Today it can count on 10 hectares of vineyards divided into 20 plots in the village of Verzy on the Montagne de Reims. The vineyards are planted with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
The base wines ferment in steel vats at a controlled temperature. They do not carry out malolactic fermentation in such a way as to preserve the distinctive fresh character of the maison's style. Some of the base wines age in oak barrels to acquire structure and complexity. These characteristics are even more enhanced by the long aging on the lees, typical of Cuperly Champagne.
Recently the Cuperly maison inaugurated a new headquarters and is moving towards foreign markets. Cuperly’s Champagne are usually reviewed and rewarded by the handbook Hachette to the best French wines.
