Cesari is a winery with a huge production that nevertheless can work in an artisanal way on top labels. The foundation dates back to 1936 and the business has always been managed by the Cesari family; today they have 2 production centers: one in Fumane in the Valpolicella Classica, where grape drying and fermentation are carried out, and one in Cavaion Veronese in the Bardolino area, where devoted to the aging of the winesin the large underground cellar.
Today Cesari produces wines under numerous appellations of the province of Verona: not only those of Valpolicella, but also Bardolino, Custoza and Lugana. Cesari has prestigious vineyards both in Valpolicella and Lugana, that are managed with great attention.
One of Gerardo Cesari's great merits is that of having made Valpolicella wines known around the world, thanks to his export activity, that today covers 80% of production. In total Cesari has 120 ha of vineyards and produces 1,600,000 bottles annually.
