The Premiata Fattoria di Castelvecchi is located in Radda in Chianti, on the highest hills in the heart of the Chianti Classico region. It is a winery with a thousand-year history, dating back to the 10th-11th centuries, which encapsulates centuries of tradition in its wines. 

The Castelvecchi vineyards, located in the most beautiful hills of Radda in Chianti, are a true heritage of Italian viticulture. Almost all of them are over 50 years old; the remainder are the result of selections from the oldest vineyards. Over the centuries, both by man and by nature, the best clones have been selected to produce today's Chianti Classico, Chianti Classico Riserva and Chianti Classico Gran Selezione of great character and maximum typicality.
