The Cantina Produttori Cormòns is famous above all for the “Wine of Peace” project: a symbolic wine obtained by blending over 600 grape varieties from all over the world, but grown in the vineyards of the contributing members. The Wine of Peace label is designed each year by a different artist and the proceeds from the sales are donated to charity.

Cantina Produttori Cormòns is a cooperative of members, founded in 1968 in Cormòns in Friuli-Venezia Giulia; the contributors in total own 400 hectares of vineyards in the Collio district, province of Gorizia, in the Isonzo and Colli Orientali area. These areas are highly suited to the cultivation of the vine, which has been present since the Middle Ages. The soils characterized by the Flysch of Cormòns alternating with marl give rise to white wines of great structure and personality. Soils and weather conditions have been analyzed by the Cantina Produttori Cormòns to cultivate the most suitable grape variety in every place and to be guided in agricultural operations. The winery works with care for environmental sustainability, codified in a behavioral protocol shared by all the members. In terms of wines produced the classic Friulian whites stand out, they are of constant quality over the years, appreciated in Italy and abroad.
