Barbera d’Asti Superiore DOCG La Luna e i Falò 2021
The name is a tribute to the Piedmontese writer Cesare Pavese. It is obtained from a very specific project of selection of the best vineyards of the Basso Monferrato for the cultivation of Barbera, different in soil composition and altitude. In this way grapes with different aromatic traits are brought together to create a wine of great complexity.
The grapes ferment in steel at a controlled temperature with a maceration of 10 days. The wine ages in barrique for 12 months.
Features
Colour: ruby red tending to purple.
perfume: black cherry, blackberry, violet, licorice, vanilla.
Taste: full body, fruity, sweet and delicate tannins, long finish.
