Vermentino di Sardegna Costamolino 2023
The appeal of youthful white wine Costamolino is due to its freshness and its balance. It is a Vermentino di Sardegna DOC coming from the south of the region. The vineyards are located on gentle hills 150-200 meters above sea level and benefit from a Mediterranean climate. Vermentino is the most cultivated white grape in Sardinia and is loved by all tourists who go on holiday to the island for its ease of drinking.
The grapes are carefully selected, softly pressed and the free-run must is left to clear bay cold decanting. Afterwards the alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats at low temperatures to preserve the flavors. The wine rests for a few months on the fine lees in steel before being bottled.
