Lucente can be seen as a first approach to discovering the contemporary taste of Tenuta Luce wines: a unique project that sees the Montalcino territory and a contemporary mindset as protagonist. The charming fruitiness of Merlot is made vibrant by the contribution of Sangiovese, both grown on the highly suitable soil of Montalcino.
The grapes ferment in steel vats at a controlled temperature and the wine is aged for a year in new and second passage barriques.
Features
Colour: deep ruby red.
perfume: wild berries and black cherry marry the notes of chocolate, coffee and the sweetness of vanilla.
Taste: well rounded, with soft and sweet tannins in balance with the full body of the wine.

It can be enjoyed in many different occasions. We suggest to pair it with a beef steak.
Recommended with: grilled red meat, roasts, hard cheese, pork, meat sauce pasta, mushrooms, truffles, noble poultry, tartufo bianco.
