    Merlot Corvina Corte Giara 2023

This red wine from the Corte Giara line combines the beloved fruitiness of Merlot with the structure of the traditional Corvina. It is a perfect synthesis of two grape varieties that have coexisted in Veneto for a long time, so much so that Merlot as well as Cabernet has acquired a typical character of the region. The Corte Giara line includes a comprehensive range of daily wines produced by Allegrini in collaboration with other growers in various suitable areas of the provinces of Verona and Vicenza. Corte Giara Merlot Corvina in its simplicity and immediacy is a full-bodied wine perfect for pairing with meat dishes. It is produced with a modern and scrupulous vinification of grapes grown on the limestone hills of the province of Verona.

Manual harvest in early September. The grapes are crushed and fermented in steel vats at a controlled temperature with a maceration on the skins for a maximum of 10 days, during which daily pumping over is carried out. Finally the wine ages in steel for 4 months after having also carried out the malolactic fermentation.
